Platform Purpose

InTheKnowUK provides information about local events, activities, attractions and experiences.

User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Use the platform lawfully
  • Respect other users and organisers
  • Not submit misleading, fraudulent or offensive content

Event Listings

Event information may be submitted by organisers, volunteers or members of the public.

While we aim for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current or correct.

Ownership Claims

Users may submit requests to claim event listings.

Submitting a claim does not automatically grant ownership or editing rights. All claims are subject to review.

Content Moderation

Event listings are reviewed before they appear on InTheKnowUK. Submitting an event does not guarantee that it will be published. We decide which listings are suitable for inclusion on the platform and may decline a submission, or remove or amend a listing after it has been published.

We reserve the right to:

  • Edit listings for clarity or consistency
  • Ask you for corrections, clarification or further information before or after publication
  • Decline, remove or amend content that is inaccurate, misleading, offensive, unlawful, unsafe, infringing or otherwise inappropriate
  • Decline or remove content that we consider unsuitable for InTheKnowUK or inconsistent with the purpose, standards or intended use of the platform
  • Decline repeated problematic submissions, and restrict or suspend an account where necessary

We retain editorial discretion over the listings that appear on InTheKnowUK. We are not required to publish or continue to host a submission simply because it is lawful or because similar content has previously been accepted.

Limitation of Liability

InTheKnowUK is not responsible for losses, costs or inconvenience arising from:

  • Event cancellations
  • Incorrect information
  • Changes to venues, times or pricing
  • Third-party websites or services

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
